Found I needed to upgraded to High Sierra to get the raw support. I tried to import raw files into iPhoto, but they werent recognized. I just got a new camera, a Panasonic G85. (I know Apple doesnt support iPhoto anymore). The editing capabilities can turn an average shot into a great shot, but that's just scratching the surface of what iPhoto 11 can do. And continuing to use iPhoto, which I much prefer to Photos.
